Description

This is an original landscape drawing that I made from Aberdour, a village in Fife, looking out over the Forth towards Edinburgh - that's Arthur's Seat and Salisbury Crags you can see on the other side. The colours could sometimes be delightful, such as this time late in the day when both sky and sea became shades of purple and lilac, slivers of blue sky peeking through, some clouds catching sunlight in creams and reds.

Drawn using soft pastels, this piece has been heavily sprayed with fixative to guard against any smudging in handling or transit. It would look an absolute treat framed and hung from a wall, particularly for anyone with a soft spot for Scotland, the sky or the coast.

This piece will be despatched in a heavy duty card envelope to ensure there is no damage to the artwork in transit.

Soft pastels on blue textured pastel paper (160gsm), 22.8cm x 30.5cm (9" x 12")
