I prefer the 3" length, it wraps all the way around and the ends nearly meet underneath my ponytail.
For reference: My hair is approximately the same diameter as a US quarter (or 1") when I have it all pulled back.

I am always a ponytail accessory so this one was one that nobody had here in Hawaii...Love it!
The hair tie add-on is very nice. It has the dark brown color I wanted, it lasted all day at the fair, and it could even accommodate my Kooshoo hair tie, which is pretty square. My only complaint is that it did not feel or look like real leather, so unless they offer confirmed real leather options, I do not think I will buy any more of these.

We are thrilled that you enjoyed the product. Let me assure you that they are indeed real leather. I process the hides (technically half hides as whole hides are huge lol) right from a leather warehouse and we strictly look for the most natural hides they offer. The finish used on the skin side makes a huge difference too though. While we lean towards the Milano (waxed finishes) we do pick up others if they are ideal for the use. Waxed leathers tend to go soft quickly and stretch more easily. Not ideal for a hair band, so we go for something with a more rugged surface but that does cut back some on the more natural look or feel on occasion.
