Description

Retro apron in designer fabrics, coral pink, navy blue, light beige. Cute flowers & bees in 100% organic cotton! Embellished with French country roses print.

Pretty in shades of pink & cream/tan on dark blue, with neckpiece and deep pockets in soft deep coral pink with pink/cream roses, green leaves, and a tonal paisley background.

FABRICS:
The main design is called "Sunspot & Bee" from the Arcadia collection by Sarah Watson for Cloud 9 Collective. It has a whimsical "hand-drawn" style in soft tones of pink, ivory, ecru on a background of dark blue ~ and on some of the flowers you'll find little yellow honeybees! 100% GOTS-certified ORGANIC COTTON

The coordinating print on the pockets and neck is from Moda's beautifully romantic and shabby chic "Paris Flea Market" collection.

I've constructed this apron carefully and lovingly on my vintage Singer sewing machine, which makes a nice tight stitch. I used high-quality prewashed all-cotton fabrics.
Top-stitched for beauty, durability, and a nice finish. This piece should last you for years!

Apron ties in the back. Neck strap is all one piece -- no uncomfortable neck ties!

Note that the neckpiece on this apron is a little wider and longer, which makes it roomier in the bust.
I've also made the ties extra long on this one, which allows more room in the waist if needed.

It's a little harder to measure these retro aprons because of the curves, but approximate measurements are:
24" across at waist (not including ties)
93" approx from end of one tie end to the other (extra long ties)
28" from the neckline to the bottom hem (not including neck piece)
Distance across bib right under trim is 10"
Neckpiece on this apron is a little wider and longer, which makes it roomier in the bust.

The size is pretty forgiving, fits most.
My dress form is a little on the slim side -- I've seen my aprons in this side on sizes 6 to 18 and they looked good :-)

Machine washable -- I recommend cold or cool water wash but you can wash in warm.

I love making these, and I think you'll love wearing them. And a Morning Moon apron makes a great gift for any cook, gardener, artist, or domestic goddess in your life!

If you have questions about fit, custom orders, or anything else, please feel to convo me!

FAQs

I want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase from my shop. Before you purchase, please feel free to ask questions! I am more than happy to answer any and all questions.

If for some reason you are not pleased with your purchase, please convo me right away. I'm glad to accept returns on most items, if you contact me within 3 days of delivery. I do ask that you contact me first before making a return.

If I made a mistake, sent the wrong item (yikes!), etc., I will of course pay for the cost of return shipping. For other reasons, I resolve issues on a case by case basis.

Everything listed is ready to ship, and I ship quickly! I ship by US Postal Service within 1-3 business days. Usually I'll mail your order the next business day, so you'll receive it asap. Please remember that international orders (outside the U.S.) may take longer to arrive.

I offer Priority Mail upgrades. If you need something very quickly, do let me know and we'll make sure it gets there in time.

I use recycled shipping boxes whenever possible, so please don't be surprised if your MorningMoon order comes in an amaz*n box!
Questions about sizing? Send me a convo and I'll be glad to advise you.
I try to always use natural fabrics such as cotton and linen. Some of my aprons are 100% organic cotton, as noted in the listings. Occasionally when I re-purpose vintage fabrics, I may not be certain of the fabric content, but I'll always note that in the listings as well.

Morning Moon handmade creations are created in and shipped from a smoke-free home. I do have cats, but they are not allowed on or near my fabric stash or finished items :-)
