I've just opened two boxes of impossibly sparkly appliques! I used to use these appliques to embellish competitive skaters and gymnasts outfits, and occaisionally on a hot mama's ballroom dance gown.

A look twice technique is to sew the applique to a flesh colored sheer, attach it to the fashion garment, Fray Check the stitching on the back side and then cut away the fashion fabric. Yowza. Guaranteed a second look.

These are all in pretty good shape. A few have a missing bead or stitch here or there as they are all handmade, but they more than make up for that with value and bling. The larger ones can be separated into smaller components.

These are all stitched to organza and stayed after the hand worked beading and embellishment is done.

A note on the pictures: The colors of the champagne and clear iris was next to impossible to capture. And the size of some of these made getting them all into the picture on my terraced photo backdrop iffy at best. They really all are symmetrical and don't look like elephant hide in hand.

This was one of the difficult ones to photograph! Those champagne pink iris flat sequins sit here on my desk shimmering with turquoise, lavender and shell pink, but look just dooky in the pix. Sigh.

Pink Iris rocailles are sewn on with pink thread on the outside of the 'feathers", and sewn on elsewhere with whitle thread elsewhere. Clear iris bugles are shaded to turquoise by stitching them on with green thread. Over all peachy iris color.

All of the little antler shapes and cut outs remind me of an ice palace. I have several designs listed elsewhere in this color configuration for you to mix and match.

Measures 25" long X 18" wide at top. I have more than two available. Only one left.

Be sure to see all the coordinating pieces that match this.
