This is a lovely yarn from the UK that's perfect for sock knitting! It's 80/20 Merino Superwash Wool/Nylon and weighs in at 1,500 ypp. Each 100g skein has approximately 328 yards (300 meters). It knits up beautifully on sock machines on every cylinder from the 54 on up to the 84. You can also use it for hand-knitting on roughly American size needles 1 through 4.
