Living in Arizona, we do not get to experience the change of seasons, it is summer pretty much year round. So I love anything that helps my children visualize how beautiful seasons are.
This set does it all! Available in any language, just send me a note with your order. It includes a felt mat with movable seasonal trees and the sun, labels for months and seasons as well as 3 laminated cards on colored cardstock per season. Colors of details on felt seasonal trees may vary slightly from photos above depending on availability.
It can be used for traditional Montessori birthday celebrations with a candle placed in the center of the sun. The birthday child is invited to stand in front of the month they were born in holding a globe (optional) and to walk around the sun back to their month symbolizing the number of years they've lived. Lovely way to incorporate science in a birthday celebration. Doubles as seasons work with sorting activity.
Cards are cut prior to laminating and then cut again after to insure complete seal around each piece, corners are rounded for safety. They are classroom sturdy, completely waterproof, will not split or peel.

So excited to use the Seasons Mat for my boys' 5th birthdays next week and for many lessons throughout the year. Very well made and it shipped extremely quickly. This will be our first felt mat and my guys are going to love it! I was going to DIY a mat for their Sun Celebration but wanted something special since family would not be traveling in from out of town for the celebration. I'm so glad I ordered this!
