Description

1910s real photograph postcard of a bridesmaid (or possibly a bride), holding a bouquet of flowers. This is an original vintage RPPC showing interesting details of the fashion style of the time. The postcard has not been stamped or posted, but there is a handwritten message in pencil on the back, dated November 8th 1919. The photograph may be of a slightly earlier date as the message refers to 'times gone by'.

CONDITION : Good vintage condition with some dog-earing and discolouration and a couple of small brown spots on the reverse. Please examine the images carefully and use the zoom function for further condition information.

SIZE (approx) : 90mm x 140mm (3.5 x 5.5 inches)

FINISH : Matte

SHIPPING : Royal Mail First Class post or International Standard Delivery. Any shipping overage on multiple purchases will be refunded.

Because of the nature of the vintage items I am selling, in most cases I will not be able to offer you a replacement item, however I will issue refunds in the following situations:

• ITEM ARRIVES BADLY DAMAGED – please notify me within 48 hours of receipt and provide photographs of the damaged item and packaging (which I will need in order to claim compensation from Royal Mail). In some cases Royal Mail will ask to see the actual item and/or packaging before compensating, so please ensure that you retain this until notified otherwise. Once photographs have been received showing the damage to the item and packaging, a full refund will be made of the purchase price and shipping cost within 14 days.

• ITEM SUBSTANTIALLY NOT AS DESCRIBED IN THE LISTING – a full refund of purchase price and shipping cost will be made, and return postage will be paid for, if the item sent is agreed to be substantially not as described in the listing, provided that I am notified within 14 days of receipt and receive the item back in undamaged condition. WHEN RETURNING THE ITEM, PLEASE CLEARLY MARK YOUR PACKAGE 'RETURN OF MERCHANDISE'.

• CHANGE OF MIND – provided that you contact me within 14 days of receipt of the item, you may return the item within 30 days of receipt for any reason and, on receipt by me of the item in undamaged condition, the full purchase price and original shipping cost will be refunded within 14 days.
