In his suave, satin brown coat, this pottery monster brings an aura of subdued elegance mingled with tasteful wildness to any setting. Really, he looks like something from Maurice Sendak's "Where the Wild Things Are." I got the idea for these whimsical, loveable critters from perusing South American artifacts dug up from . . . well, from somewhere down south, though I think mine have rather more magnificent horns.

The Monotone Monster is about 6.5" tall, 10" long, and 4.5" wide at his widest point. He's hand made of ceramic clay and glaze fired to cone 6, or 2232 degrees Fahrenheit. There's not another like him anywhere in the world, and he's waiting just for you.

Shipping costs are quoted for the continental United States only, and are for priority mail. If you'd like me to send him off to your exotic location, let me know your address and I'll get back to you with a figure.
