Luna Incarnadine: Chimæra in the Garden: Alembic Spell for the Hortus Conclusus

A letterpressed seed-paper print featuring a collaborative illustration by artists Candace Jensen, Thomas Little, and Coleman Stevenson from the exhibition ReCalling the Chimaera (Amos Eno Gallery, Brooklyn, NY, May 2022).

Letterpress ink on Recycled Wildflower Seed Paper. Seeds include Birds Eyes, Snap Dragon, Dwarf Godetia, Sweet Alyssum, Black Eyed Susan, Catchfly.

Edition of 156 (52 each color), 5.5”x8.5”

Choose from the alchemical colors of Red, Gold, or White

Keep your print OR activate the alembic:

-Tear in half along perforation.

-Plant one half in soil available to sunlight and pollinators.

-Add libations (water), and keep moist until seeds sprout.

-Keep the second half of the print on a personal altar or as artwork, or even as a bookmark.
