Jewelweed has long been known to relieve the itch of poison ivy or poison oak. It contains an ingredient which actually breaks down the poisonous oil from poison ivy so it an be washed away.

Dried jewelweed can be used in soap making or other skin care products such as salve or lotion. It can be used to make a poultice tea which can be frozen into icecubes and rubbed on a poison ivy rash for immediate relief.

It also acts as an antifungal and is great for stinging nettle encounters too!

This jewelweed comes from my own backyard and grows wild with no help from me. It is as natural as it gets. I pick it and let it dry natually. It contains everything except for the large stalks. The leaves, flowers, seeds and small stalks are what I have used to treat my own poison ivy rash and it worked when nothing else would!

This listing is for 1.5 oz of naturally dried jewelweed.
