This delicate handled sugar bowl or jam jar is hand painted with a lovely spray of lavender lilac and lily of the valley flowers, trimmed with gold accents. It may have been part of a demitasse tea set. It was manufactured by the ~Hermann Ohme~ factory in Silesia, Germany, circa late 19th century.

Alas, the tiny lid is missing and there is one hairline with a couple of others appearing to be underglaze. However none affect the integrity or charm of this sweet, dainty collectible piece and are reflected in the price.

The "fleur-de-lis" mark
Crown over stylized 'H O' over 'SILESIA' in blue.
There is also an artist mark in gold.

Porzellanfabrik Hermann Ohme
Niedersalzbrunn, Silesia, Germany
Factory in operation: 1882 - 1928
The most common factory mark appears to be the "fleur-de-lis" mark. The top of the mark is a crown, immediately below is the O on top of a stylized H, for Hermann Ohme. This mark generally has "Silesia", "Germany" or "Prussia" beneath it.
