Chinese Lantern City Art Upcycled Paper Bag Gouache Watercolor Print

This is a print of my original watercolor from my paper bag series: images painted on upcycled paper grocery bags using watercolor and gouache. The print captures the unique background material, preserving the lines and creases that make the painting seem like a found object.

This painting depicts the preserved Chinese city of Ping Yao. Located in the Shan Xi Province, Ping Yao is a traditional Han walled city that dates back to the 14th century. I got to Ping Yao by traveling 12 hours on an overnight train from Beijing but it was worth it to see the ancient streets lit by lantern light.

Image size: approximately 8" x 9" (edges are irregular)
Paper size: 8.5" x 11"
Printed using 60lb archival quality Canson digital watercolor paper and archival Canson inks.

Arrives signed by the artist, lovingly packaged in a clear sleeve with cardboard backing to prevent damage during shipping.

**Watermark will not appear on print**

Thanks for looking!
