In honor of PAC-MAN's 30th anniversary, this item is on sale! 20% off!

(I know I'm a little late for the anniversary, but what can I say? The Google game had me in it's thrall.)

A handmade 17x9x3" stained glass panel clock of my original design, my own take of the classic PAC-MAN video game.

(You know how Georgia O'Keefe did those ultra zoom-in abstract paintings of flowers? Sort of like that. Except with an arcade game. And some really neat textured glass.)

The left side of the panel features an analog clock mechanism with bronze hands.(clear workings, so it blends with the glass).

The clock/panel is mounted in a custom built balsa wood shadow box, which I then installed with an electric strip light. This can sit on a sunny windowsill or be hung on the wall. Flip the switch, and it's a lamp too!

Clock takes 1 AA battery, not included.

A great addition to the game room, or would make a great gift for any gamer or child of the 80's!

Frequently asked questions about DancesWithMonsters

I love doing custom art when my schedule allows. Design fee ranges from an additional $5-20 depending on nature of your request.
I am currently working on adding a text customization option for all of my listings.

Design work includes up to two sketches and two modifications). Anything needed within 2 weeks from the date of your order may be subject to an additional rush fee. Orders in the Austin, TX area may schedule a pickup/delivery in lieu of shipping.

HOLIDAY ORDERS: I tend to have a full workload of custom requests going into the holiday season. I would recommend getting your orders in as soon as possible to ensure that I’ll be able to fit them into my schedule. My cutoff date for custom orders is December 1
My preferred style is abrasive sandblasting because, unlike acid-based cream etching, it yields a smooth, even surface and an interesting texture that contrasts nicely with the surrounding glass. It also allows me use advanced techniques like multi-layer carving and shading in my designs.
Sandblasting works by using silicon carbide “sand” propelled by pressurized air to wear away the surface of the glass. I draw all of my patterns digitally, then cut them into a vinyl resist, either by hand or on a plotter. Each glass gets the individual treatment when it comes applying the resist and masking off the rest of the glass. Anywhere that isn’t covered gets decorated.
All of my etching is done on restaurant-quality glassware. and is durable enough to mix in the cabinet with the rest of your collection. Etching is permanent. The glass is all dishwasher safe, and your design will never fade or flake away.
In addition to glass, I can also etch steel. (That includes YETI cups!) Unfortunately, I am unable to etch acrylic and other plastics due to the toll it takes on my equipment.
If you are interested in carrying Monster Dance in your store, please email or message me for my current catalog. Complimentary delivery in the Austin/San Antonio area.
Sometimes things happen in the mail. If an item arrives damaged, please contact us immediately to let us know. We will happily replace any damaged items provided they are reported within 7 days of order delivery.
Glassware may contain bubbles or other variations. This happens in the manufacturing process, and does not detract from the glass. I inspect glasses for defects in structure and safety (cracks/chips).

The etching process may also result in some slight variations from glass to glass or from pictured items, and some elements of more intricate designs may need to be adjusted due to limitations of the etching process. I do my best, but this is a part of the item’s handmade nature.
