This wonderful Polish Christmas Stamp depicts a miniature nativity scene, complete with onion domed buildings, winged angels and little sheep. The back of the ornament has the phrase, "Wesotych Swiat!" which means Merry Christmas in Polish.

I have encased the stamp in glass utilizing the Tiffany style-copper foil method of stained glass. I have added a swirl of reclaimed copper wire which holds a little silver string for hanging. Finally, the entire piece has been treated with an antique copper patina.

Measures: Stamp is 1 5/8 square with a copper swirl of 3/4 of an inch

This little art treasure can be used to adorn your Christmas tree, a gift or just to hang up and be lovely; but, it was not designed to be worn as jewelry.

I have a couple of these stamps and will be making ornaments with them throughout the holiday season. I try to make them just like the picture each time, but sometimes the little copper swirl is just a little bit different.

I get my copper wire from flea markets, yard sales and electricians who have little scraps that are just trash to them-but it's treasure to me. I strip it while sitting on the fields watching my children do their sports, waiting for the car to be repaired or any place I have a few extra minutes.

I am happy to send my treasures to places far and near-if you don't see your home listed, don't despair, just convo me and I will be happy to give you a shipping quote. Shipping in the US is by USPS- First Class with Delivery Confirmation.

Thank you so much for visiting my shop today!
