This print was created by an intaglio printmaking technique called "Aquatint". A fun and lengthy process using a fine powdered resin melted onto a copper plate which is then put into an acid bath to achieve different gradations of one color ink, which in this case was black. i made the print at The Black Church print studio in Dublin. The image is inspired by a quick sketch I made while sitting in my favorite restaurant in New York, Angelica's Kitchen, looking out the window, waiting for my meal.
the image is 8" X 11" on paper 12" X 16". It is signed by me, Coco Berkman. It will ship flat in an archival sleeve inside a stiff cardboard sleeve.
