This is a beautiful copper plate engraving from the 'Encyclopaedia Britannica', A Dictionary of Arts, Sciences and Miscellaneous Literature. Published by A. Bell and C. MacFarquhar, Edinburgh, dated 1797. This is an exceptionally old and rare plate.

The condition of the print is excellent. The paper is cream in colour and slightly toned. The print measures approximately 8 1\/2" x 10 1\/2" (21 1\/2cm x 27cm).

This is an ORIGINAL antique print. A copy of the title page is included in the listing.

All prints are sent Recorded (Signed For) Priority Airmail. They are packaged within sturdy foam boards.
