Signed Yusuke Aida Tawny Gold Divided Vegetable Dish David Gil.
This highly collectible serving dish has wonderful color texture. It has a matte mustard gold or tawny yellow glaze with rounded edges and wonderful midcentury modern lines. It was produced in the mid 1960's by Bennington Potters in Vermont and designed by Yusuke Aida, who was employed as a designer at the pottery in the 60's and worked under David Gil. Aida's designs fall into the 1600-1700 mold number range. He became one of the top ceramicists in Japan.

Marked: Bennington Potters Vermont *1666, with the Bennington Potters logo (looks like a stylized paint brush with 4 fingers).
This dish is in excellent vintage condition -- no chips, no cracks. It will bring a modern warmth to your dinner and entertaining table!

Please convo any questions! Thanks!
