Description

The evening of the party has finally arrived! Bleuette and Rosette look like white frothy confections in these exquisite party dresses! The fabric GL used is no longer made, but it resembled dotted Swiss a little so we made the dresses in a beautiful white dotted Swiss with blue dots. The silk sash and bow are pure silk satin ribbon. The skirts are held out with the Jackson petticoat, plus Clochette. This will be an enchanted evening!!

To help hold out those darling fifties skirts, the girls need a Clochette petticoat! It should be worn under the Jackson slip petticoat. The original G-L petticoat was made of nylon seersucker (which probably is no longer made). Pure cotton plisse or seersucker would be a good substitute. It is trimmed with valenciennes lace, and if you are also making the Jackson set, it is nice to have all the laces matching!

Bleuette and Rosette won't feel like beautifully dressed little French girls unless their underclothing is just right! Full petticoats are very necessary to hold out their lovely skirts. This lovely slip is copied from the G-L style, right down to the lovely Valenciennes lace! The lace on her panties should match, too. The panties waistband is furnished with elastic for ease.

This is just the MOST adorable set of party clothing for Bleuette and Rosette!

The pattern is beautifully printed, with a full color cover showing several views. It is contained in a heavy plastic sleeve which you can insert into a binder. The Bleuette clothing was made to fit the Janice Naibert type Bleuette body, (approx 10 and 5\/8" tall with head) but should fit others as well. The Rosette pattern will fit the Rosette body from Janice Naibert, which is a well proportioned body which makes into a 14" doll, with head. Please convo if you have any questions.

You are buying the pattern only... the dolls and accessories shown in the photos are not included. Doll clothing made by, and the pattern designed and published by Dede Kern
