This large, beautiful Limoges china brooch features a transfer of a an elegant couple playing instruments. The lady is playing a lute, and the gentleman appears to be playing a tambourine. They are framed by a pretty gold-tone metal rope border.

The brooch has a ring on the back which allows it to be worn as a pendant as well. (There is no chain included, however.)

Age/Era: Limoges china was produced until 1930, but I don't know when this pin was made

Size: 2.25" x 1.75" (5.75 cm x 4.5 cm)

Materials: china/porcelain, gold-tone metal (metal has no marks)

Maker/labels: Limoges, France

Condition: Very good vintage condition. Minor wear on the metal. Back of china has some wear and marking, but of course that does not show when worn.
