Mmmm...Thin Mints. This is an impeccable example of the "Official Girl Scout Camera" manufactured by Herco Imperial in 1957. Several different models and makes of the girl scout camera were made from the 1930's through the 1970's, but none were as stunning as this mint green bakelite beauty from 1957!

This camera is in remarkable shape and comes with an attaching, matching flash with bulb, and the original box! The cardboard box has seen better days, but the camera and flash are in wonderful condition, only the lightest of wear on the plastic body and metal face plate. This camera has not been film tested, but seems functional--the shutter snaps, and all the mechanical whirligigs seem to go off as they should.

This box camera takes 120 film, but the film has to be hand-spooled onto special rolls to fit this type of box camera which you can buy from several specialty stores online like B&H and Adorama. However once you purchase the hand-spooled rolls you should be able to re-spool it yourself if you have access to a darkroom.

This would be the perfect holiday gift for the camera buff of any age or experience level!
