“The lights are on, but you’re not home…” Palmer won a 1987 Grammy for this song, also known for its infamous music video featuring deadpan models as his (faux) backup band. The lyrics comically speak to the euphoria of new love – It's been said that Palmer’s famous designer suits and this hit symbolized the excesses of the 80’s.

The 16” candlestick is black and chrome, has mirror chips around the base, and is encircled by a black and blue bracelet and metal spiral. Both can be adjusted to your liking. The 45 is topped with 2 blue metallic hearts, a silver swirl, and a tiny bottle with green “love potion” encapsulated in the top. A piece of green neon plexiglass is added for color.

The #1 single was originally cut with Chaka Khan sharing lead vocals but she backed out due to contractual conflicts. Palmer enjoyed collaborating with artists from many different musical genres until his death in 2003.
