FAQs

General Information:

Please be careful not to torque or pinch glass while unwrapping or handling your new piece of stained glass. Do not pull wrapping apart but cut with scissors. It’s best to balance piece in the palm of your hand, the cantilevered pieces are very fragile.

Panels are best kept upright or vertical.

Be sure to wash your hands after handling as it’s leaded.

To clean your glass, mild dish soap is best. Oxidation of lead can be corrected with glass wax.

Although very durable, it’s probably wise to replace the mono-filament yearly as it gets brittle and stretches in the sun. .A surgeon’s knot is recommended as a strong knot.

Enjoy your stained glass, it can be an heirloom if handled gently.

If you’re purchasing a gift, I can include a message and ship directly to the recipient. During checkout, leave me the instructions in “message to the seller”. I do not include invoices in my packaging as you have a copy and many of my items are purchased as gifts. Unwrapping them can get messy.
