George Rumrill sold his famous jug pitchers from the 1932 to 1942, when he died. This one, stamped with his name and marked with an incised 50, is one of those early jugs. The color is a gorgeous eye-catching orange. We have seen photos of blue ones and red ones, but never one of this distinctive color. It originally had a cap of the same color that held a cork, but that is long gone. Otherwise, the jug is perfect.
