One of my favorite items to make lately since it combines my love of paper crafting with Christmas!

This countdown is meant to last for many years to come...not made of cardboard or cheep materials! I wish I could charge less for these calendars because I think every household should have one but unfortunately I have to make a little money on the time invested and I would rather use quality materials that will last for years to come rather than materials that will not hold up!

Fill these little tins with holiday family activities to do each day, little gifts, of course every child loves candy or even the first step to a treasure hunt...the ideas are limitless!

Made from a 16 x 20 inch artist canvas the advent calendar is meant to be used for many, many years to come! Everything except the paper around the outside of the tins has been given a coat of mod-podge to give the paper a thicker feeling and to protect the calendar from smudges.

Velcro tabs strongly hold the 2 x 1 3\/4 inch tins to the canvas. As the days pass, you simply take the tin down for the surprise, store the lid somewhere for safe keeping and replace the empty tin on the canvas. I have taken the extra step and placed a matching scallop circle in the bottom of the tin to continue to add holiday color all the way through the countdown.

The ribbon for hanging was attached using terrifically tacky tape which is very strong abd I have full confidance that you will never have a problem with the hanging of the calendar!

Over 5 hours of attention is given to each and every advent calendar and each is made with great attention to detail.

Would you care for a different holiday color scheme? Maybe blue and white with snowflakes or all red and white, just convo me and I will be happy to make you a custom advent calendar. **I have added a picture of 3 other paper choices besides the two that I feature already, I do not have samples made of these paper choices but I know they will be beautiful!**

As the holiday season gets closer, my crafting time will become less and less so do not delay in ordering if you are interested, you never know when the last calendar will be listed!

Any questions please feel free to convo me!

I will be happy to ship anywhere but I will need to take the package to the post office to get a price. Please convo me and I will be happy to help you!
