I can hardly believe a 100 year old jar, especially one that's been worked so hard, is still around! Originally made for preserving garden fruits and vegetables, this is a gorgeous quart jar by Ball that has thick green/aqua glass. We can tell when it was made because of the Ball logo and the sloped shoulders of the jar--called a shoulder seal.

A reproduction zinc lid completes the vintage look. This listing comes with a white pump and silver lid, but if you'd rather have black on silver or black on black, just leave us a note when you checkout.

Dimensions: 9 inches tall, 3.75 inches wide, holds 4 cups of liquid

WEDDING IDEA thanks to dawncorrespondence.etsy.com: Spruce up the bathrooms at your wedding by adding vintage mason jar dispensers!

Certain soaps, especially dish soaps like Dawn are hard on the lids, causing some corrosion on the underside. If this concerns you, simply request our modern two-piece lid http://www.etsy.com/shop/MidwestFinds/search?search_query=best+performance&search_type=user_shop_ttt_id_5568429&shopname=MidwestFinds It has a plastic underside with a built in rubber ring.

Other soaps create no problems at all. Lotions and hand sanitizer do very well.
