This unique key ring holds your keys and keytags, so when you check out or open your car doors, you can display your favorite colors. The key ring is 12 inches long, allowing you to dangle your colors from your pocket or purse. When you go to hunt for your keys, you can easily find the long ply split braid and even recognize it in the dark by how it feels. The key ring can also serve as a keeper for all your store keytags, a diaper bag pull, or a coat pull for the kids.

Ply-split braiding is a hand-weaving technique, using simple tools. A Gripfid is used to push through the plies (splitting the plies) of a series of cords, to pull a single cord through the middle of the split plies of cord. When varied colors and fibers are used, different designs, patterns, and textures result in the final gift or neck ware item. We use various natural fibers to create the cords used in ply-split braiding. Bamboo makes a soft texture, while cotton makes a durable braid.

This key ring was made from a wool and acrylic yarns, woven in a multi-colored stripe design. It measures 12 x 1 inches and includes a silver-colored split ring.
