How many phonebooks do you get a year? How many times a year do you use any one of those phone books? My solution to this wasteful dilemma was to make something useful out of the yellow paged albatross. A real working fan, housed in an upcycled phonebook. This one won't cool an entire room, but pushes enough air to make a good desk fan.

Fan can sit in two positions, as it will rotate in the frame; a steel grate guards the plastic blades. Phonebook is sealed in resin and given a matte finish, for that authetic, right off the front porch look. Purple switch in back adjusts air flow from off\/low\/high. Green cord gives it extra funky flair. Great conversation piece!
