antique quilt 1930s. A depression era cotton quilt, pieced in all those super 1930s prints and solids that we love...many printed feedsacks! I believe that every 'shoo-fly' block is a different cotton. It has the prettiest backing, soft pajama striped flannelet in pink, blue and lilac stripes, that is folded to the front to bind. Light/medium weight, it is nicely hand quilted all over in cables. Made in the 30s, this sweetheart is in good vintage condition, the only flaw I see is that some of the pale blue 'posts' have faded (or maybe they were always paler). A lovely example of style and creativity of depression era quilting.

Measures 74" x 62"
