Here are three vintage match books.
Two are from Chicago, one is from New York.

The first one is Blackhawk Restaurant/Mural Bar in Chicago.
It used to be home of many nationally prominent orchestras and equally famous for its delicious food.

The second matchbook is also from Chicago-The Playdium Bowling Alley.
They declared themselves to be the bowling show place of the Mid-West.

And lastly is the International Casino in New York. This casino opened in 1937. In the 1980's Bonds clothing store changed the name to Bond's International Casino.
What I love about this matchbook is that someone had written on the cover in marker, 1945 War Ended. What an experience that must of been for the person who had the matches at that place in time!

The Blackhawk and International matchbooks have all their matches still intact but the cardboard is a little cracked. And the Playdium is missing two matches but otherwise in good condition.
