A fox waits out a snowstorm in the hollow of a persimmon tree.

Ever since going to Japan, I've wanted to do a print with a fox and some Hachiya persimmons. I didn't really know what they had to do with each other, but I was hopeful, so I asked Google. Apparently, foxes like to eat persimmons! I had no idea. It's nice when you make a picture up and it's actually true.

The image is a 3.5" x 5.5" gocco screenprint on an A6 size folded khaki-colored card. The card is blank inside and comes with an orange envelope in a clear plastic sleeve.

Gocco is kind of a quirky handprinting process, so prints will vary slightly.
