Adeline Virginia Woolf , born 1882, an English novelist and writer of short stories, and was regarded as one of the foremost modernist literary figures of the twentieth century.

Her most famous works include the novels Mrs Dalloway (1925), To the Lighthouse (1927) and Orlando (1928), and the book-length essay A Room of One's Own (1929), with its famous dictum, "A woman must have money and a room of her own if she is to write fiction."

Virginia is wearing a pale yellow floor length dress accented in white trim. Her dark hair is styled in a low cluster of buns, and she has a sad, hand painted expression, as Virginia was known to suffer at times from depression. She stands a tiny four and a half inches tall, (11.4 cm), a unique addition to your collectibles!
