When Scotland was ravaged by Viking invaders, a group of Scottish men were resting in a field. Unknown to them, Vikings were preparing to attack them. As the Vikings approached, they stood on thistles with their barefeet and, of course, let out cries of pain as the thorns dug deep into the soles and toes.The Scots were awakened and were able to fight off the attackers.From that day the Thistle has been adopted as Scotlands’ National Emblem.
Drawn originally in pen and ink, the illustration is printed on to an American Apparel threequarter sleeve boatneck tee. Available in olive green or Eggplant (dark purple) in S, M, L, XL.
These tees are stretchy and get a little larger after wear due the stretchy nature of the material. Available are small (2-4) mediums (6ish), Larges (8-10) and XL (12-14) Fitted but stretchy.
