Description

In summer I am very glad
We children are so small,
For we can see a thousand things
That men can't see at all.
-Tadema

'Toy Boat' is a delightful original lithograph by Haddon Sundblom is from 1943 from a fine anthology of illustrations of childhood from a time long gone by.
Haddon Sundblom was one of the leading graphic illustrators of his day; commissioned by the Cream Of Wheat Company as ad copy for all of their products. Sundblom was a busy guy, he also did all of those fabulous 1920s to 1950s Coca Cola ads with the red-cheeked Santas.

This charming antique litho absolutely perfect; flat and smooth; without dings or bumps. The heavy paper is a lovely quality too; finished with a satin sheen. It's blank on the reverse and it measures 7" x 9." It's in amazing fresh and vibrant condition too considering it's 70 years old.

'Toy Boat' would make a sweet addition to a special child's nursery or perhaps framed for your own personal quite space.

Matted and framed and displayed as a gallery grouping, these charming old children's book prints are simply a delight. (Please note that the framed examples in the last photo are to show how this might look when it's framed. This sweet litho print will come to you unmatted and unframed.)

Surrender Dorothy offers an over-the-top array of unusual frame-worthy vintage and antique prints, maps, charts and illustrations of ever description to adorn every room in your happy home.Terrific vintage art finds for your workplace too.

Our inventory moves very quickly and fresh selections are added each day, Please be sure to bookmark our shop and check back to visit us often so you don't miss a thing.

I'll send this beauty to you First Class Mail by way of those nice folks at the USPS packed flat and protected in a rigid mailer.

Cashier's Checks and Money Orders are okay too but only if they are received within four days of your order, otherwise we'll cancel the order and put the item back up for sale.

We BEG you guys, Please... If your Etsy Address and PayPal Addresses are different, please please let us know where you would like us to send your package. We have a real talent for choosing the wrong one.

Returns & exchanges

Returns
We are happy to accept returns in good condition in the original packaging shipped within 48 hours as exchanges only and you agree to pay postage both ways.

Damages In The US Mail.
They happen sometimes.
Although we carefully wrap our vintage breakables in tons of bubblewrap and tons of padding and pack them in sturdy shipping boxes, damages still sometimes happen. *sigh*
Please tell us about damaged goods ASAP. Photograph the damages and send photos to us so that we can work it out with USPS.

Shipping policies

We ship by way of the United States Postal Service only.
Yes, FedEx and UPS are a little bit cheaper, but we find them to be very brutal with our delicates and breakables, so we refuse to play with them.

International Orders
The answer is YES we do ship internationally. Please just ask! There are many shipping destinations on this planet and each one is a slightly different price.

Additional policies

While it is considered customary for many antique and vintage shops to consider offers and dicker prices, our shop simply doesn't.
We've priced our merchandise as fairly as humanly possible. Please don't ask us to haggle.
Thank you.
