Prussia was a historic state originating out of the Duchy of Prussia and the Margraviate of Brandenburg. For centuries this state had substantial influence on German and European history.

This beautifully colored original map from the famous ninth edition of the Encyclopedia Britannica of 1897 shows, in its top portion, the Kingdom of Prussia in 1786 with insets of the Mark of Brandenburg in 1415 and the Principality of Neuchatel. The bottom panel displays the Kingdom in 1866 with an inset of the Principality of Hohenzollern.

The map is in excellent condition, with bright colors and no foxing. The map is blank on the reverse side.

The size of the sheet measures 10 ½ x 15 inches with the printed map portion measuring 8 ½ x 11” (all measurements are approximate)

Your map will be shipped in its original fold in an unbendable mailer by first class insured post. This is an authentic and original map. Not a photocopy.
