How do you save a tree (or at least a few branches) and look incredibly cool in one fell swoop?

Step 1: Go to your local coffee shop, and order a cup of java to go.

Step 2: Whip out your new handknit COFFEE SLEEVE from katylua.

Step 3: Carefully slide the sleeve onto your cup, and pause a second to allow the staff and other customers admire your ingenuity, eco-saaviness and overall coolness.

Care Instructions: Blot drips with a clean towel. If more extensive cleaning is required, soak the coffee sleeve in cold water with a few drops of gentle detergent (e.g., Dreft, Woolight). Don't rub, agitate or ring out as this piece will felt and shrink. Press the wet item between two dry towels to remove as much water as possible. To dry, either lay it flat on a dry towel, or slide it onto a clean coffee to-go cup.
