SALE...was 24 euros, now only 20 euros!

I made this elegant brooch from layers of beautiful French upholstery fabric remnants, machine stitched onto a felt backing. Legs and antennae in wire, seed beads for eyes.

The ancient Egyptians were experienced bee keepers. The bee was the emblem of Lower Egypt and this hieroglyph was also used in the word for honey.

Measures 4" high x 4.5" wide, including antennae and legs (10 x 11.5 cm).

Metal brooch clasp on the back.

♥ The perfect gift for:
*an insect lover
*a bee lover
*a bee keeper
*a honey lover
*a lover of ancient Egyptian art
*any or all of the above!
