This classic symbol of peace - the dove holding a sprig of laurel - has been carved and pressed into clay to create a small tile. This one has my rich goldenrod yellow - a rich Victorian style glaze that flows from the raised areas and pools darker into the recesses - very lovely! I've taken this delicately carved little tile and attached a small ribbon for hanging securely on the back. It measures 1 3\/4" X 2 1\/4".

I carve my design in wax and then pour a small plaster mould. A hand press is used to press the moulds into a thin slab of porcelain cay. After firing, I brush each ornament with glaze and refire. A lot of work for a tiny piece of art!!

Everyone of my small ornaments and magnets come packaged in a small cellophane bag with a decorative card....perfect for gift giving!
