A vintage book of poetry by the famed Victorian Poet Robert Browning published in 1932 by Black’s Readers Service Company of Roslyn New York.

Date: 1932
Publisher: Black’s Readers Service Co
Hardback: Red Cloth Cover
7 ½ inches high – 5 ¼ inches wide
301 pages

Described as a thoroughly typical Englishman of the middle class Browning’s works reflect his belief in man, nature and God. Also, often in the background of his poetry is the sorrow at the death of his wife, Elizabeth Barrett.

This book includes many of his grandest poems and is divided into sections: to Elizabeth Barrett, Songs, Ballads, Monologues, Lyrics, Romances, Dramas, Idylls and Epilogue.

A biographical sketch by Ben Ray Redman is included.

Red boards with gold inlay on the front gold printed on the spine.

Excellent Condition. Tight spine. No corner wear. No writing, rips or tears or bent corners. There is a cellophane cover that is slightly worn around the edges which I believe has protected this book extremely well.

I am not a book dealer. I just love books. Please convo me if you need more information or with questions.

Postage is Media Mail.

This is just a wonderful book for the Poetry lover in your life or your personal collection!
