Just off the bench is this fine running Waltham pocket watch. This wonderful mens 16 size (about 2" in diameter) pocket watch is keeping good time. Waltham pocket watch is stem wind and set which works properly, crown is in very good condition. Movement is marked: A.W.W.CO. WALTHAM, MASS. Serial number dates this 7 jewels pocket watch to the year 1913. The movement looks clean, balance has good motion with regulator nicely centered for adjustment either way if necessary. The gold filled case is marked: GIKARD WATCH COMPANY 20 YEARS. Case covers screw on/off properly and tight. The back cover has a shallow dent which is really not noticable but should be mentioned. The case has a touch of brassing near the pendant and a spot on the edge of the back cover. This pocket watch is monogramed with the letters WTL but please check my picture and decide for yourself because I always have a hard time reading these fancy letters. The snow white porcelain dial is free of any hairlines or chips and shows tiny red Arabics over each hour marker indicating minutes. Sub-second dial has black Arabics in ten second intervals. The "Spade Style" hour and minute hand as well as second hand are in very good condition. Waltham has a glass bevelded crystal that is NEW! Bow looks original to the pocket watch. Overall a good running timepiece that is 96 years old that will only increase in value in the years to come. FREE SHIPPING!
