This is a huge thick cookbook that won a top award in 1965 when it was published. This is the hardcover Abradale Press Edition, edited by Michael Sonino. This cookbook has 849 pages, including 40 pages of Index in both English and Italian. The book is is about 2 1/2" in thickness, and it weighs over 5 pounds, so I am not offering International shipping because of the high shipping cost. Shipping within the USA will be by media mail/book rate unless other arrangements are requested.

The cookbook has a dust cover that shows some wear, light soil, a few ripples on the front, and some small tears on the spine portion. The pages seem to be clean, unmarked, and just slightly discolored towards the edges. There is a stain mark on the page ends of the book bottom, as seen in the photo. The pages are tight, but there is a gap in the spine and the page binding, so probably would benefit from some glue. The hardcover under the dust jacket is clean and in very good condition. I am not a book expert, but I consider this book to be in good condition. It has lots of photos, and I like the appendix that gives menus, and another several pages of photos identifying all of the tools, knives, pots and pans, and various kitchen utensils.

This book is really an encyclopedia and a reference book for anyone who loves to cook Italian style.
