This is a beautiful example of stretch glass from Fenton. It is the #857 bowl, flared and cupped, in Grecian Gold in the Melon Rib pattern. Lovely color and iridescence like carnival glass. Made during 1910-1920 according to Warman's Fenton Collectors book.

Stands 4" high and almost 10" wide with a 4" foot. Cupped edge with 8 'petals'. 4 part mold seam. A classic Fenton piece! The coloration is amazing, peacock tones of blue and purple shine over the marigold yellow base. Clear foot. Nice profile.

Excellent condition. No chips, cracks or repairs. No damage to the delicate iridescent sheen. Really wonderful condition!

A large and hard-to-find piece for the collector!
