This is a beautiful piece of art glass. I hate to sell it but my collection is getting out of control.

It was made in Malta in the 1970's by Mdina (the studio founded by English glass artist Michael Harris, named after the town).
Michael Harris later went on to found Isle of Wight glass.
The colors are blue and yellow/green. The pattern created by the yellow layer resembles Chinese characters, which is why it is referred to as 'Ming'.
The vase has wonderful proportions and is very tall for a Mdina vase. The bottom has the etched Mdina signature.

Similar Mdina vases are pictured in Judith Miller's 2009 Collectibles Price Guide (pages 262-263).

Height: 14.5 inches

There are no cracks or chips. The bottom is scratched, but one would expect that in a glass piece of this age. There is a vertical scratch, about 1.5" long, in the middle.
