Frances Hook, a well-known artist with a successful career ranging from Saturday Evening Post illustrations, illustrations for children's books, and later, the Living Bible, was commissioned by Northern Paper Mills in 1958 to develop stand-out branding illustrations for their bath tissue line, which, even in the day, was America's top selling brand.
