Wonderful vintage cookbook by Paula Wolfert before she hit it big in the cookbook writing world! "Mediterranean Cooking" encompasses the cuisine of the countries that surround the Mediterranean Sea, some of them being Spain, France, Italy, Albania, Greece, Turkey, Syria, Cyprus, Lebanon, Israel, Tunisia and Morrocco.

Her dishes include everything from Appetizers (mezze) to Desserts. Stuffed vegetables, savory pies, fish, pilafs, soups, fritters, meats and loads of vegetarian dishes. Most of them being easier than you would expect with short directions and ingredients available in your supermarket.

In very good condition, some dings to the corners, binding tight, inside pages very clean (looks unused) and not yellowed. 368 pages, comprehensive index. 1977, Qadrangle The New York Times Book Co.

Smoke-free, pet-free.
