Beach Jewelry, Shell Necklace, White Scallop Shell Pendant, Ceramic Seashell Necklace is one of my favorites. I think it would be perfect to wear for a summer beach wedding, don't you? It could be a great gift for your bridesmaids or your new mother in law! If you would like to order more than one of these, please allow time for them to be made for each is made by hand by me and needs to be kiln fired--allow several weeks in your planning.

The "Scallop Shell" design is carefully hand formed from white earthenware clay and then fired twice in the kiln. The first firing is 9 hours and the second, after the glaze is applied, is 7 hours. The Sterling Silver wire is then worked around the pendant to create the bail with a twisted decorative loop from which to hang. The soft, Greek Leather cord adjusts in length from 16" to 18" plus. I have chosen to use a leather cord to keep the cost of the pendant affordable. The leather cord my be easily removed and your own silver necklace my be used to hang the pendant for a "dressier look". The Pendant is aprox. 1" in diameter. It is covered in a soft cream colored glaze called, Parchment. The pendant comes in a white gift box with a clear lid and is tied with a raffia bow adorned with a small handmade, clay scallop shell.
