What's more fun than dressing up rabbits, giving them musical instruments, and having them play a concert in the woods? Nothing! And that's just what the Victorian's did in their holiday postcards!

I just love the imagery and decided to create a series of decorative tiles in their honour. Based on an Easter greeting postcard from around 1910, I carved the image in wax and cast a plaster mould. After extruding a slab of porcelain clay, I pressed the mould into it and cut and sponged the edges. After firing the tile I glazed it in a glossy transparent Walden green crackle and fired it a second time. This tile measures approximately 5 1/8" tall X 6 7/8" wide.

Please convo me with any questions. Thanks!!
