THIS IS PART 2 Of A 2 PART TUTORIAL – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY, SO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GETTING!
This is the SECOND of a TWO PART tutorial which covers how to make a big, round bead the way I do, using an Ultra Light core and an organic cane.
I've broken the tutorial into two parts. Folks who are pretty new to polymer clay or Ultra Light can get a good start with Part 1 of the tutorial. Those who want to skip to my unique process of laminating and finishing my big beads can just purchase Part 2 (this one!). Both Parts 1 and 2 are designed for both beginner and more advanced clayers, and have all the information you need to make big round beads like mine.
Part 1 is 12 pages full of valuable information, with 30 full color photos. Part 2 has 21 pages, jam packed with important information, tips and tricks, as well as 65 full color photos and illustrations.
That's a total (if you purchase both parts) of over 30 pages of detailed directions, 95 full colored photos!.
- Part 1 covers how to make the inner bead core using Sculpey Ultra Light. I cover how to handle and condition Ultra Light, and how to form and cure the beads.
- Part 2 covers how I laminate my big beads with round organic cane slices, and how I finish the beads to make them beautifully round and smooth.
