Title: Ginkgo
Process: Each linoleum cut block is hand pulled, dried and meticulously hand painted with watercolor to give each print it's own vibrance and look.
This is one piece of a collection I created for my own home. Collect all 6 unique tree branches.
This is a limited edition (only 20) and yours will be numbered and signed. The paper is a standard 5x7 with the image at approx 4x6. The image is centered to be best of my ability, though because they are all hand set and pulled there may be a slight variation.
Please note: Colors may vary slightly due to calibration differences in monitors.
All of my pieces are sealed within a plastic envelope for protection against moisture and mailed in a rigid, flat cardboard mailer. No bending or creases!
Watermark will not be present on your print. All work are signed, titled and dated by me.
OPTIONS
Upon checkout select either the basic print or add a 8x10 mat in black or white, or choose from my new alternative colors, indicating which you choose in the comment section upon checkout.
FRAMING OPTIONS
If you are interested in faming this piece please convo me and I will create a custom listing for you within the day. Options include Mitered (crisp) edge, or Chamfered (cut detail on all 4 sides) edge. If you would like your piece to be matted and framed I have larger frames with the same colors, details available.
About the Frame:
The wood in the frame has been hand picked, planed and created to be the piece of artwork you see today. The quarter sawn oak comes from a 6' diameter ancient oak here in the Willamette Valley. The beautiful tree had fallen in a wind storm and was bound for the wood pile. After Slabbing it and drying it for 2 years, it was high graded for the best quality.
My husband is a talented carpenter and taught me how to design and assemble these frames and each is unique with its tiger-like stripes and deep grain.
