Description

I was inspired to design this quilt by a Pendleton Indian Blanket I saw in a book. I named this quilt Indian Summer for that reason, and because the colors made me think of indian corn.

This quilt measures 79" x96" .

The quilting thread is a light green, and the binding is a grass green print to accent the body of the quilt.

My quilts are quilted by Regina Carter of Jackson, GA on a long arm quilting machine, using a pantograph pattern. Regina Carter is a full time, professional, long arm quilter who has earned many awards and accolades for her quilting.

The batting is Hobbs 80/20.

This quilt is machine washable with a mild soap, on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry on low, or line dry.

You can order a similar quilt in any size or colorway. Please see my shop policies for information on ordering a custom quilt, or convo me with any questions you have. I am very open to working on coming up with a pattern, size, and color scheme that will suit your needs.

This quilt was made in a smoke free environment.

Returns & exchanges

I cannot do any refunds or exchanges on custom orders, or patterns.

If you buy a ready made quilt, and it doesn't suit you, you can exchange it, but you will be responsible for the extra shipping costs. In many cases I am able to send some small fabric swatches to you to help you determine if a quilt would be right for you before you purchase it. Convo me about this.

Shipping policies

Shipping prices include insurance and tracking. I generally use the US Post Office for small orders, like patterns and pot holders and UPS for quilts; but I am happy to work with you if you want to request something different.

Most items are available for immediate shipment, occasionally, an item is in a exhibit. In this case I will let you know, and ship as soon as possible, but in most cases I will ship the next business day after your payment has been confirmed by Etsy.

If your order arrives damaged, please retain all packaging until the claim is resolved.

Please convo me for prices on international shipping.

Additional policies

For custom orders, first we need to use whatever combination of the Etsy convo system, and snail mail is appropriate for us to communicate about a design and fabric selection. You may need to send me something that will show me what colors you want, such as a fabric swatch, or paint chips. Before I can buy any fabric for your project you must pay a nonrefundable deposit of 50 % of the purchase price of the quilt. To accomplish this, I will set up a special Etsy listing for your deposit, which you will purchase.

When I choose the fabrics I think you will like, I will send swatches through the mail for you to approve. We both need to be careful that I understand what you want, because I cannot do refunds or exchanges on custom quilts.

When we have finalized a design and fabric selection, the clock starts on your 12 week delivery time. I will try to get your quilt to you as soon as I can, and often do get my orders done earlier, but I allow myself 12 weeks on average. It is not only my schedule, but also my quilter's schedule that has to be taken into consideration. If the pattern is especially complex, it may even take longer, but I can do most patterns in 12 weeks.

When the quilt is completed, I will let you know, and I will set up anther special listing for the balance and the shipping for you to purchase. When you purchase this, I can ship your quilt.
