Description

Creepy clown photo print weird photo vintage clown scary clown photograph strange antique photo 1940s home decor wall art print poster Lon Cheney

We are a professional interior graphic design business specializing in curating unique unusual vintage historical images and designing large scale graphic interior art for both commercial and residential interiors.

For the first time, we are offering to the public access to a portion of our collection of rare, hard to find vintage historical archival images. These archives have been the source for numerous conceptual interior design projects for restaurants, bars, retail spaces, national and boutique hotels, high-end residences and Las Vegas nightclubs.

All photo reproductions are digitally processed and printed in high resolution. They are the highest quality professional photo print reproduction available on the market. We offer various print sizes. We also offer larger custom sizes and photo searches upon request.

PRINTS:

All our prints come unframed. Inexpensive frames can be found (among other places) at Ikea:
http://www.ikea.com/us/en/search/?query=ribba+frames

Our prints are created on professional photograph paper with 12-color archival inks on a IPF 8400 Canon Wide Format Printer. “Professional photographic paper” comes in many weights. Ours is a 260 gsm (grams per square inch) heavyweight paper.

Finish is usually satin aka semi-gloss, but in some cases (like with vintage travel posters and images of hand written song lyrics on notebook paper, for example ) may be matte, as this better mimics the original.

SHIPPING & HANDLING:

All orders are processed, printed and SHIPPED within 3-5 business days.

4x6 through 8x10 sizes are shipping in rigid reinforced mailing envelopes. All other sizes are shipped in reinforced shipping tubes.

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION GUARANTEED:

We pride ourselves on 5 star product and customer service. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us before leaving a negative review so that we can make it right or issue you a refund. (We have not yet ever had that request.)

A few of our vintage images may not always fit perfectly within modern day photo sizes. If a particular image requires cropping, it will be minimal and may not even be perceptible.

All our images come from high resolution scans. As vintage photographs were taken with a small format camera before the advent of high resolution cameras there can be a grainier look than the HD cameras of today produce. The only way to avoid this is by posterizing or otherwise altering the image in photoshop rendering it completely inauthentic looking. That being said, we spend hours on each image to enhance each detail and to correct flaws due to aging, such as scratches, water spots, fading etc.

---------------------------------NOTE: NOT ALL PRINTS ARE CREATED EQUAL!-----------------------------------------------

Photo reproduction prints are a product of the mechanical printer, the quality of paper used, the quality of inks used and the human printer's eye and expertise. There is a difference between the commonplace laser printer (as one would find at Office Max) and a professional state of the art giclee printer, like we use.

Our inks are archival pigmented inks, not dyes like a home ink jet printer uses. They are fade resistant for 100+ years. These are the inks sought by museums and galleries for their accurate color reproduction. That is, they are the only inks able to match an artist's palette or photographer's images. Add a discerning and experienced eye, and you have all the makings of a superior print. In printing, like so many other services, a lot of factors determine the quality of the reproduction. How thick (or flimsy) the paper is, the resolution of the original photograph, the expertise of the individual processor/printer and the time spent polishing the image to perfection prior to printing. Don't purchase a print from just any vendor. Investigate how, by whom and with what those prints are produced.

Not only are we professional, we are nice people with big hearts. A portion of our proceeds goes to housing, feeding and caring for the large panda population recently discovered in New Jersey. Because we all know bamboo can’t grow there. (That was a joke if you’re a little slow.) Thank you for your visit and have a pandarific day-

WE WILL NOT COMMUNICATE WITH THE POSTAL SERVICE ON YOUR BEHALF. PLEASE READ OUR POLICIES BELOW REGARDING PRINTS DAMAGED, STOLEN OR LOST IN THE MAIL.

All items are carefully shipped in reinforced, protective and waterproof packaging. Any returned print must be shipped back INSURED to the address provided within 7 days of delivery. The print must ship in the original or equivalent hard cardboard mailing tube or envelope and be packaged the same way it was received (rolled no bigger than 1.5 inches in diameter and wrapped in paper) so it does not get damaged. The prints must have no smudges, fingerprints, pen or pencil marks, water marks, dents or scratches on either front or back.

After we receive the print in the same condition it was shipped, we will issue the refund.

>>>>>>>>> FOR OUR INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: PLEASE NOTE THAT WE CANNOT INCUR LIABILITY FOR DELIVERY OR RETURN SHIPPING CHARGES <<<<<<<<<<
We refund the price of the purchased items only. Of course, if there has been a gross error on OUR part, such as sending the wrong print, we will refund 100% of the total cost including shipping charges both ways.
After we receive the print in the same condition it was shipped, we will issue the refund. See domestic shipping policies, above, for the requirements to return a print.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the inconsistencies of computer and mobile device monitors/screens, neither we nor any other print producer can produce a print that is an exact match for what may appear on a particular screen. This is because a computer or mobile screen uses radiant light, also called active lighting. This is light coming from a singular contained source, an example being light coming from a light bulb, whereas a print is viewed in passive more ambient lighting which will also interact with a print or glass-framed reflective surface. This is why changing a print's location in a room, for example, can subtly change the print's appearance and ANY image viewed from a screen will appear brighter than the actual product. You can see this for yourself simply by holding a thick piece of paper in front of your monitor and noting it's brighter appearance. It is lit from behind by a concentrated light source. Don't let this scare you. It is only because we wish you to be an informed customer and because we like showing off our technical knowledge, that we are explaining this to you!

Also, please note that vintage photographs were, by definition, taken with cameras before such thing as high definition capability existed. Further, the types of film used, ambient lighting and stability of the photographer's hand were sometimes less than optimal. The lack of laser sharp definition is thus not a defect in the printing process, but a hallmark of historical photographs. We believe that this characteristic is what makes vintage photographs so unique and interesting and consciously choose to not artificially enhance their definition in such a way as would make them appear inauthentic. We respect their original integrity. That being said, where there are obvious flaws often found in vintage photographs (scratches, spills, incorrect exposures etc.) we expertly correct them.

Shipping policies

DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING POLICIES:

- All orders ship from Asheville, North Carolina in 3-5 business days. All orders will ship First Class mail via USPS, in durable cardboard mailing tubes or reinforced flat envelopes. Tracking will be provided.

-WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SHIPMENT AFTER IT LEAVES OUR HANDS AND IS EN ROUTE VIA THE POSTAL SERVICE. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DELAYS IN POSTAL DELIVERY, OR DAMAGE OR THEFT IN SHIPPING. WE WILL NOT COMMUNICATE WITH THE POSTAL SERVICE ON YOUR BEHALF. PLEASE READ OUR POLICIES BELOW REGARDING PRINTS DAMAGED, STOLEN OR LOST IN THE MAIL.

THIS IS WHY WE RECOMMEND PURCHASING INSURANCE UP TO $100.00 FOR $1.50 AT
CHECKOUT.

(USPS is no longer providing insurance for lost or damaged packages free of charge.)

-If you have a rush order or need any mailing upgrades, rush handling and priority shipping are available at check-out. Similarly, if you would like to purchase insurance coverage for your purchase, you may choose that option when you check out.

Very occasionally, a shipment leaves our hands and is detained or delayed for reasons out of our control. Please note that tracking numbers do not mean that the USPS or other postal service knows exactly where your package is at all times or that it knows exactly when you can expect to receive it. Obviously, the same goes for us. Sometimes there are delays in shipping! But 99.9% of the time the shipment does indeed arrive.

-Should your tracking seem to stop prior to delivery, and you have questions or are desiring further instructions PLEASE CONTACT USPS OR YOUR COUNTRY'S POSTAL SERVICE DIRECTLY. We cannot get any information that you can't and will not act as your agent in communicating with them. Similarly, if you did not purchase insurance at checkout and your package is lost or damaged, you must contact USPS or your country's postal service directly.

-If you purchased insurance at checkout and your package has not arrived within 20 days after it's expected delivery date or arrives damaged, it will be your responsibility, not ours, to file the insurance claim. (The USPS insurance company requires a 20 day grace period to "wait and see" before a claim can be filed. This is their requirement, we don't make the rules.)

-Rest assured that all packaging is strong and durable. These prints are our babies too. As noted above, you can arrange to have upgraded shipping with insurance when you check out.

ATTENTION INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS:

The base rate for international shipping is based on a shipment weighing more than 8 ounces. If your order weighs less, we will refund the difference in shipping cost to you at the time of shipment.

International packages are subject to customs inspection. The wait time varies depending on season and country being mailed to. This can effect delivery times. We have no control over this, however, if you would like to add additional tracking and delivery confirmation services, please let us know at the time you order. These additional services and their cost vary from country to country.

OUR RETURN POLICY FOR INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS IS EXPLAINED IN "DETAIL IN THE "RETURNS AND EXCHANGES" policies section above.
